About Jeff Lamoree

Jeff Lamoree is President and CEO of EnerNex where he is responsible for the overall technical and financial management of the company. He co-founded the Knoxville-based electric power research, engineering, and consulting firm back in 2003. During Jeff’s tenure, the firm has experienced dynamic growth and has been named to Inc. Magazine’s List of fastest growing private companies. EnerNex specializes in the application and integration of new electric power technologies to government, utilities, and both industry and private institutions.Jeff has been involved in power system engineering, consulting and research and development work for almost 25 years. He was involved in the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) IntelliGrid Project, as well as Executive Liaison for the $8.5 million, two-year contract awarded by NIST to help sustain the accelerated development of the hundreds of compatible standards that will be required to build a secure, interoperable smart electric power grid. That project was subsequently extended another two years.He is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer in the state of Tennessee.Jeff is also on the University of Tennessee Electrical and Computer Systems Industrial Advisory Board.
