Representative Public Transactions, Activities and Memberships- Legal lead for Shell Canada Energy on sale of an equity position in the LNG Canada Joint Venture, located in Kitimat, British Columbia on the west coast of Canada, to North Montney LNG Limited Partnership, a wholly-owned entity of Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”)(2018)- Legal lead for Shell Canada Energy on Sale of Upstream Assets to Tourmaline Oil Corp. for share and cash consideration of an aggregate of C$1.369 Billion (2016)- Legal Counsel for the full range of upstream transactions, agreements, joint ventures and considerations for Shell Canada Energy, a large unconventional Canadian oil and gas producer and member of the Royal Dutch Shell Group- One of 10 members of Royal Dutch Shell’s Legal Practice Area Team for Acquisitions & Divestitures, setting guidance for RDS global legal department. Previous Experience- Acted for a wide range of vendors and purchasers in public and private merger and acquisitions transactions, including asset and share transactions and plans of arrangement- Acted for issuers and underwriters in multiple brokered private placements and prospectus offerings, with a focus on oil and gas corporations and a broad range of securities and structures- Provided broad advice in relation to all elements of securities regulation and stock exchange listing processes and requirements; and - Provided general commercial and corporate advice to a diverse range of businesses. Education and Law Societies: I received my BA in International Relations in 2003 and my LLB in 2007 both from the University of British Columbia. I was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and the Alberta bar in 2011.
