Over 20 years of experience in management, real estate development (incl. affordable housing finance), economic development, local and state public policy. Currently working for one of the world's leading innovators and makers of life-saving medical devices by providing management support for: crisis response and strategic planning; business expansion including site selection, tax incentives, and workforce development; legal, government, regulatory and community affairs; operations and facilities management; and new investments in resource efficient technology. California Gubernatorial Appointee, 2012 - 2018. Los Angeles Mayoral Appointee, 2002 - 2006. 2017 Economic Development Partner of the Year, Imperial County Economic Development Corporation. 2017 Economic Development Partner of the Year, Kings County Board of Supervisors & Kings County EDC. Responsible for creation of California's first-ever Advanced Strategic Aircraft Program Tax Credit (CA R & TC §23636). Responsible for amendments to California law on the Capital Investment Incentive Program (CA GOV §51298). Responsible for creation of the first-ever Capital Investment Incentive Programs in Los Angeles County, the City of Long Beach and the City of Palmdale. Co-managed the City of Los Angeles's first-ever citywide Adaptive Reuse Program, the development of the City of Los Angeles's first-ever $100M Affordable Housing Trust Fund, citywide development services cabinets and urban planning studies such as the citywide Industrial Development Policy Initiative. Managed the successful development of several new affordable housing projects using Low Income Housing Tax Credits while working for the following non-profit organizations: Abbey Road, Abode Communities, Los Angeles Housing Partnership, Penny Lane, and The Skid Row Housing Trust.
