Here are a few of my achievements accomplished while working as Guest Experience Manager. I played a major role towards increasing the part time staff’s retention rate, through: effective communication, an improved training program, hiring techniques as well as a solid recognition program. For the 5 year period following these changes we averaged a 91% retention rate which was up from approximately 80% the previous 5 years. I facilitated and was the key driver in developing the guest Experience website as a communication/training tool for the department. Included in this website was the new shift exchange system which was now available 24/7, 365 days a year. Ultimately this new system was more effective in that it reduced the number off call offs for events, eliminated redundancy and boosted morale. I formulated event estimate templates in Excel to create a more seamless and error free process. I revamped scheduling processes that have saved the scheduler at least 2-3 hours of scheduling time each month. I developed and continued to evolve new hire training to be more streamlined and effectively allowing us to use those training dollars in other areas of training. I created and executed evacuation training scenarios to include, active shooter, earthquake, fire and riots etc. Developed and facilitated evacuation roundtables as well as new hire evacuation basics. I've been a certified TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) trainer for 9 years. Won the “Championship Performance” award from TEAM coalition twice for having 100% of game day employees TEAM certified in 2013 and 2014. I collaborated on site with the Director of Guest Services on the opening of BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston Texas. I participated in developing an elevated guest experience program for AEG. Helped in delivering the intitial training presentations with Disney to the game day staff of O.co stadium in Oakland California.
