About Jeff McKee

A seasoned veteran of the Telecommunications field, with experience garnered from over 28 years in the field. Working my way up from a technician, administrator, then to an engineer, before hitting lead engineer at Harris Corporation. Starting my career as a central office installation technician in the 80's, I was able to travel across the country from coast to coast seeing the US early on. I moved on to small key system service and installation in Ohio, from there moving on to Orlando Florida where I installed and maintained many different key systems, nurse call systems, and overhead paging systems across the state for five years. Finally settling in Brevard Florida where I've been for the past 21 years, I currently work as a Voice Network Engineer at an integrated healthcare system. With hands on experience covering hundreds of varied communications systems over the years, there's not a lot that I haven't worked on or have under my belt. I currently manage the communications for a four hospital integrated health system with over 80 locations across Brevard County Florida. My current job role includes everything from managing carrier LEC and CLEC relations and orders, vendor management, cost management, project design, quoting, and system implementation. I've worked on hundreds of projects large and small projects throughout the years, and managed several into the multi-million dollar hospital wide category. I'm not afraid of a challenge, and play well with others. However, I do look forward to what the next day brings, especially when I can enjoy time off with my friends and family when I get the chance.
