I founded JDavis Painting in 2020 with a simple goal: to make hiring painters feel easy, professional, and even enjoyable. After seeing how frustrating and unpredictable home improvement could be, I wanted to build a company people could actually enjoy working with. A few years later and we’ve become one of Toronto’s top-rated painting companies — earning nine awards, hundreds of glowing reviews, and features on CityTV, Alexandra Gater, and several industry podcasts. We’re proud to be more than just a painting company. We’re a certified Living Wage Employer offering paid sick days, extended health benefits, and even a paid day off for your birthday — because happy teams deliver the best work. At JDavis Painting, we believe the customer experience matters most. We use smart systems and transparent communication to take the stress out of home improvement. Outside of work, I love performing improv and coaching youth basketball — both great reminders that collaboration, timing, and communication matter just as much off the job site as on it. And when I can, I'm on a mountain trail with my better half and my dog.
