About Jeff Moore

A Professional Educator in the field of Agricultural Education. I serve as a Career and Technical Education Curriculum development and implementation coordinator for high school courses in Plant Systems & Horticulture, Agronomy, Introduction to Ag Systems, Veterinary Science, Animal Systems, Welding and Small Engines. As FFA Chapter Advisor of the Holdrege FFA Chapter I coordinate and develop over forty student activities involved with community development, student leadership development and agricultural skill and agricultural advocacy as the focus. The program is annually ranked as a Top 10% FFA Chapter in Nebraska and annually ranked as a National 2 or 3 Star Chapter. I guide students toward team and individual achievements in the FFA Organization at the local, state and national levels. Additional certifications I have are in the area of CASE (Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education, Plant Systems). I hold a Master's Degree in Educational Administration - University of Nebraska Kearney and use these skills to analyze situations, plan and implement curriculum and work with our local data and school improvement teams. I have served as an assistant football coach at the varsity and middle school levels. I am active in professional organizations from NAEA (Nebraska Agricultural Education Association) having served as district chair and the State Board of Directors. I have extensive knowledge of the Nebraska FFA Association from my time serving on the State Board of Directors and Nebraska FFA Foundation having increased involvement in policy and finances of the Association through the finance committee. Each of these positions have placed me in roles where I communicate the business of the Board to my district and help shape policy of the Association. These roles also require me to coordinate the activities for the schools and members of my District throughout the year. I am seeking a transition to the agribusiness sector in the near future
