About Jeff Ohagan

Thirty years experience in clinical drug development with significant time spent on both the CRO and sponsor sides; a very rounded background with successful experience in program leadership roles (domestic or international trials, portfolio level), regional site monitoring and data coordination. Therapeutic expertise in pain and analgesics, schedule 1-4 drugs, neuromuscular and rare diseases, oncology, cardiovascular, infectious disease, psychiatric disorders (Phase I-IV inclusive). I also feel it's extremely important to celebrate achievements, appreciate fellow colleagues and foster positivity within my study teams. Recent expertise includes: • Psychedelic and cannabinoid trials • Rare Disease trials • Analgesic research with the intent to develop novel alternatives to opiates and the misuse and abuse of prescription pain medictions. • 10 years of global trial management overseeing cross functional teams located in North America, EU, Asia-Pac, LATAM and expanding markets. • NDA prep and submission readiness for new therapies in oncology, rare disease and CNS (FDA, EU, Japan) • Vendor relations/management • Genetic biosampling flow and oversight • Bid defense/liaising with BD Special interest in working with smaller, niche companies or start-ups.
