About Jeff Papas

With more than twenty years' experience across the media spectrum including radio and print writing and reporting as well as television writing, reporting, anchoring, public and media relations and marketing, I am very well versed in media. My PR experience covers both the private and public sectors. I am the Director of Communications at Hamline University. My responsibilities include oversight of the organization's reputational management and external communication, among other duties. I've also won two CUNA Marketing and Business Development Council "Diamond Awards" for prior work. These honors included an Award of Merit for television advertising and a national award featuring my original photography. I am also an accomplished public and crisis communicator, with over twenty years' experience in media and public relations including twelve in the public sector. I have designed, written and executed successful public relations and marketing plans in both the public and private sectors. I have media buying experience, have hired and worked with agencies and have done design work myself. I'm also the current radio voice of the 2010 NCAA Division II national football champion University of Minnesota-Duluth Bulldogs. I've also served broadcast stints with the Bulldog men's hockey team and the Duluth-Superior Dukes of baseball's Northern League and currently cover high school sports including the Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament. I'm a highly accomplished communicator in virtually every form of media including social media and social broadcasting. Let's talk!
