About Jeff Perkins

Business management and insurance specialist with over 25 years of experience. I currently serve as commercial insurance account manager for the coastal area of North and South Carolina. Formally i served as an agency manager for an exclusive Allstate agent with 4 locations in three North Carolina counties. Our agency serves both North and South Carolina. I am licensed in both North and South Carolina for property, casualty life and health insurance. My current responsibilities include systems administration, operations management, underwriting, sales and staff training. I have been involved in a leadership capacity in several community service organizations over the last 30 years. I have mentored and trained associates in both the retail and insurance industries along with several community service organizations. As a project manager for Gaston Family Health Services, I developed and managed a team of certified application councilors over a 5 county area for a federally qualified health center in central North Carolina. My team was responsible for the education and enrollment of the public in the Affordable Care Act. Our program was recognized both on the national and state level for excellence in program implementation. I also was a member of two state work groups to improve education and enrollment programs throughout the state.
