I am a real estate finance and commercial finance attorney with a practice representing lenders, borrowers, developers and investors in a broad range of commercial transactions. I have extensive real estate finance experience representing banks and other lenders in connection with the origination of construction, bridge, permanent, and mezzanine loans. Those loans include financing for hotels, office and industrial properties, retail projects, multi-family projects, condominium and townhome projects, land acquisition and development, and single-family home construction. I have also represented creditors and note buyers in enforcing their security interests and other rights and remedies, and in workout negotiations, forbearances and collection matters involving real estate. My commercial finance experience includes acquisition financing and asset-based loans for operating companies in the agricultural, aviation, aerospace, furniture, packaging, mining, semi-conductor production, and healthcare industries, and includes financing secured by special forms of collateral, such as jet engines, intellectual property, and healthcare receivables.
