About Jeff Pratl

Jeff, a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch since 2001, is dedicated to providing clients with the finest individually tailored approach to financial and investment strategies. At the heart of his philosophy is a passion to build enduring client relationships through his commitment to providing outstanding guidance and service. Having access to an array of specialists, Jeff advises clients on wealth accumulation, preservation and transfer through the creation of individually customized wealth management strategies utilizing a defined process. This process includes portfolio development, liability management, tax minimization, and asset preservation with a specific emphasis on helping to assure a lifetime retirement income stream. Jeff knows the accumulation and preservation of wealth present different challenges and opportunities. He works closely with clients’ other trusted advisors including attorneys and accountants to address tax, trust, philanthropic and estate issues – including wealth transfer strategies – to truly be an “essential resource”. Jeff is dedicated to attending continuing education classes annually as he believes it is essential to serving the best interest of clients. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1987 with a B.S. in Accounting and successfully sat for the Certified Public Accounting examination (CPA) in 1989. It should be noted, however, that Jeff does not provide legal or tax advice in his current role at Merrill Lynch.
