Responsible for providing engineering and technical support to maintenance and operational staff, in order to promote continuous production. Responsible for training and instructing craft personnel in process implementations and changes, as well as providing technical support during outage planning, engineering projects, and day-to-day operations. Provide shift engineering support utilizing Rockwell Automation Studio PLC's, IBA, and other analytical computer systems. Responsible for updating electrical documentation, robotic troubleshooting, Infrared (IR) systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), heat treatment, and other industrial systems. Maintain 13.8kV, 480V, 240V, and 120V power systems, Allen Bradley MCC's, Eaton switch gear, Siemens / Rockwell drive systems, and various high and low pressure hydraulic motors and pumps. Also responsible for communicating daily technical issues and PLC program changes performed on shift to the Engineering and Production Management team, in an effort to produce higher process efficiency, and implementation of company goals. Plan and conduct bi-weekly maintenance to further ensure daily operational readiness.
