About Jeff Reel

As Senior Vice President and General Counsel for ATP Tour, Inc. in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, I have had the privilege of serving one of the most dynamic and globally recognized organizations in sports. ATP Tour, as the sanctioning body of the men's professional tennis circuit, governs over 60 tournaments in more than 30 countries annually, and I am proud to contribute to its continued success and global reach. Throughout my tenure at ATP, I have honed my expertise in drafting and negotiating a wide array of contracts and agreements essential to the organization’s operations and growth. My experience encompasses high-profile sponsorship agreements with renowned global brands such as Emirates Airlines, Corona Extra, Mercedes-Benz, FedEx, MasterCard, Barclays Bank, Rolex, Lexus Automobiles, PIF, Dunlop, and Waterford Crystal. These partnerships have been pivotal in enhancing the ATP's brand visibility and market presence. In addition to sponsorship agreements, I have managed various licensing contracts, including apparel agreements with industry leaders like adidas, Fila, and Lacoste. My role extends to overseeing event contracts for major tournaments, notably the ATP Finals, which have taken place in premier global cities such as Shanghai, Sydney, Lisbon, London’s O2 Arena, and currently in Turin, Italy. My responsibilities at ATP also include negotiating player endorsement and NIL contracts, media rights agreements, internet arrangements, data licensing, and our social media engagement policies. Furthermore, I oversee all of ATP's intellectual property matters and play a crucial role in Board meeting preparation and management, anti-corruption initiatives, security and safeguarding efforts. I am dedicated to leveraging my legal expertise and strategic insight to foster ATP's mission and uphold the integrity of professional tennis. My career is driven by a passion for sports law and a commitment to excellence, aiming to support ATP's continued innovation and leadership in the sports industry.
