About Jeff Riching

I am an Electrical Engineering Technologist who graduated from Algonquin College in Ottawa. I believe I am an ideal candidate, and would be a welcome addition to any staff. I am safety oriented with a strong attention to detail and deadlines, and am also a particularly neat and organized person in both appearance and performance. I work well by myself and as a team member, as I possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Throughout my academic career I have proven my determination and intelligence several times. During my third year project at Algonquin, I was responsible for soldering components to create an LED based light bulb simulator for testing purposes in Algonquin’s electrical labs. This included using instruments such as multi-meters and thermal detectors. I assisted in the design and testing of this circuit, and was also responsible for the budgeting, planning, and procurement of all necessary components. I have experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, and AutoCAD 2014. Of the six semesters of my Technology program, I made the Dean’s Honours list five times, and graduated with honours. During my tenure, I was asked by the faculty to tutor both math and electrical theory for other students who were struggling with their studies. I believe that these achievements and accolades should be a testament to my dedication and determination. I believe these are qualities that every employer looks for. I am willing and able to carry over these qualities from school to the work force. I am punctual and believe that honesty, courtesy, and determination are the marks of an ideal employee.
