About Jeff Ringdahl

Jeff Ringdahl is Partner, President and Chief Operating Officer of Summit Trail Advisors. He leads the day-to-day operations of the firm to deliver an exceptional client experience and differentiated service offerings to meet the unique needs of the firm's ultra high net worth clients. Jeff also spearheads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and scale while executing the firm's strategic growth plan. Before joining Summit Trail, Jeff spent 14 years at Resolute Investment Managers and American Beacon Advisors, advancing from Chief Operating Officer to President & COO and ultimately to President & CEO. His earlier career included operational, product, and investment roles at prominent financial services organizations including Fidelity Investments, State Street Global Advisors, Touchstone Investments, and Western & Southern Financial Group. Jeff brings a methodical and strategic approach to both long-term planning and day-to-day operations, keeping an unwavering focus on key objectives while navigating challenges that arise. He believes that organizational performance is optimized when a team concentrates on delivering exceptional results on the most critical initiatives, avoiding the pitfalls of unnecessary complexity, diffusion of effort, or unclear priorities. As a leader, Jeff recognizes that talent development is fundamental to success in asset and wealth management. His commitment to mentorship extends beyond direct reports, as he develops future leaders across the firm. Jeff earned a BA in Economics from Boston University and an MBA from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. He holds FINRA series 3, 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
