I have a passion for and extensive experience in project budget and contract management, account management, project planning, policy and data analysis, accounts receivable, and preparing reports and summaries. As a Capital Analyst for South Jordan City, I managed project budgets ranging from relatively small budgets (e.g. master plans, environmental studies) to multi-million dollar budgets (e.g. a fire station costing over On average, I managed 40 to 50 project budgets at a time with the majority of them ranging from to each (i.e. building renovations, park amenities, road construction, water pipelines, storm drain facilities, and other city infrastructure). I have extensive and proven technical experience and skills. I developed spreadsheets and forms for South Jordan City to track and manage capital project budgets and contracts. Those files were the first organized system in place for the city to allow centralized and comprehensive financial tracking of capital projects. They also provided the first capital project database in the city that was accessible to all city employees. I was also heavily involved in learning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementing modules of an ERP called Munis, which were used for the financial management of capital projects and assets. I also gained experience in purchasing and general accounting. As a Financial Analyst at L3 Communication Systems-West, I worked in Accounts Receivable invoicing and reconciling accounts for multiple customers, including one of the largest customers (in terms of receivables and collections). I worked a great deal with SAP and Excel. I performed duties such as preparing invoices, back-up documentation, and reports (e.g. reports showing un-billable costs and why they are un-billable.) I performed these and other duties for some of the largest contracts the company has with customers (e.g. exceeding
