About Jeff Rogers
Jeff is a person who has been interested in inventions and innovations from a young age. This interest is understandable given a family history of scientists and inventors, the most notable being from his great grandmother’s side who was a Cockerell. Her family included the great Sir Christopher Cockerell who worked at Marconi to develop radar during the Second World War and then invented the Hovercraft. Initially Jeff studied science at La Trobe University before swapping to business studies and graduating with a Bachelor of Business. Jeff completed his Professional Year at PKF Chartered Accountants and it was here that the initial idea for B-free took root. He became convinced that the on-line revolution occurring would provide never before seen opportunities to simplify business accountancy and taxation compliance. His dream is to build a paperless superhighway of business information from banks through accountants to government to simplify the lives of business operators while providing key reports vital for business success.
