About Jeff Shew

Was an intelligence analyst for a decade-did Counter-Proliferation, Counter-Intelligence, Combat Search And Rescue jobs (can't go into details). Also, became quite proficient in several non-intelligence areas-firearms training, logistics, administrative/management functions, human resources/counseling. I wore many hats over that decade. As for my goals, I'd like to be able to put the skills I learned to commercial use. That said, I have zero interest in jobs that require a government security clearance (I did that dance for a decade, and at a certain point, that dance became tiresome). I fully understand that could seriously impair my chances of good employment, but I also understand I am not a one trick pony. The skills I learned as an intelligence professional and as a soldier can be applied in many areas. No one says you have to be TS/SCI cleared to be a good investigator, or serve as a military technical advisor to a film or television production, or make sure an office functions efficiently-all of which I can do quite well. I know how to snoop. I know how to tell an actor "you don't hold the weapon like that.and your rank insignia is crooked". I know how to meet administrative deadlines in a work section.and make others meet them as well. I'm thinking outside the box on what I can bring to a table. Specialties: Weapons training (M16A2, Kalashnikov AK-47 & AK-101, Denel Land Sysytems R4); computer-based counter-intelligence investigation; drill & ceremony training; personnel management; event planning; government/outside element liaison; training in financial crime (investigation of); training in digital telephonic security; personnel surveillance; writing/editing of product reporting; instructional briefing training
