About Jeff Singbeil

Born and raised in Nanaimo, BC, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the natural world. Growing up surrounded by the forests, oceans, and wildlife of Vancouver Island instilled in me a lifelong respect for the environment—a passion that continues to guide my career. With a BSc in Biology (Ecology) from Vancouver Island University, I’ve built a strong foundation in ecosystem science and environmental stewardship. Today, I serve as a Senior Wastewater Operator, where I have the privilege of protecting our water systems and promoting sustainable practices every day. What drives me is simple: a commitment to helping people and the planet. Whether I’m mentoring colleagues, optimizing treatment processes, or advocating for environmental responsibility, I believe that small, consistent actions can lead to meaningful change. I’m always looking to connect with others who share a passion for sustainability, innovation, and community impact. Let’s work together to leave the world better than we found it.
