About Jeff Spaletta

I am a strategic minded, forward thinking educational leader who has gained a solid track record of success in providing effective visionary leadership within education. Throughout my educational career serving as an Executive Director, Chief Administrative Officer, Coordinator, Turnaround Principal, School Board Member and Educator, I have served as a dynamic force for the overall improvement of the academic community, with proven successes in low-performing schools, providing resources and services in alignment with raising achievement and closing achievement gaps in rural, urban and suburban schools. As an Executive Director and Chief Administrative Officer I implemented the board's vision by making day-to-day decisions about educational programs, budget, staff, facilities and charter renewals. I hired the organization's staff, supervised and managed the central office staff and principals. As a building leader of Kansas City Public Schools, Dollarway School District and Hughes School District, I have successfully created supportive learning communities through developing a positive school culture, mentoring and coaching teachers, developing positive relationships with staff, parents and students, and by implementing instructional tools and data-based assessments that help students find success. As a multi-campus charter school leader I have worked closely with the Board, administration and staff to support and environment that supports high achievement for all students. My record of improving student learning and achievement rates, instituting continuous improvement programs, designing comprehensive professional development initiatives for staff, and redesigning comprehensive curriculum has enhanced my school communities. I am truly committed to making a positive impact on the academic success of all students.
