It's all about the data. Sweet, glorious, helpful data. And AI, don't forget the AI! Most of us haven’t forgotten AI yet, but just making sure! It's about the AI and the data that can help improve climate resilience, for example. Usually in the cloud. Seems weird to note the cloud, but I'll do it anyway!It's also about working with people who use data and AI and write code and build AI systems, or people who work with such people. They're usually doing this to create software that can be useful in some way, like to drive business value. It’s about all of that.At Google, I focus on innovation in Google Cloud’s Office of the CTO, our "two-way innovation street", working with customer technology leaders and Google's research, product, and engineering teams. I am a technology leader that has worked in small, medium, and large companies, from early stage startups to public companies. I started with SQL databases, but along the way I built full stack web software and data science, engineering, and analytics teams, systems, and programs. When creating technical solutions, I tend to think about data models and flows first, or at least early. I've led AI and machine learning projects ranging from small prototypes to large, cross-functional efforts. I've contributed code to almost every system I've worked on, but I've also managed teams building many different software systems at once.Note: Gemini did not write this.
