About Jeff Sukow

I started dabbling in programming with my TI 99/4A back in 1982. My games weren't the best but the videos I was able to record on VHS were fun to create. I still have some programs saved on cassettes which I hope to revive.In college I continued to dabbling in programming. The first programs I wrote were for my HP48. During class and in my free time I wrote dozens of programs that included Solitaire, a TV Remote Controller, Misc. Engineering Utilities and a LZ78 Compression program. Choosing programming over food, this starving college student manged to save up for a C compiler and began creating programs for my 386SX (aah the good old days).In 1996 I graduated from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Out of college I found my dream job, a job that combined my love for programming and engineering. The job consisted of developing and maintaining 30+ year old FORTRAN programs. As time went on I realized that I wanted focus primarily on programming and as they say the rest is history.Today I still love to program and program every second I can both at work and at home.
