Over 30 years of experience in government contract administration. Accomplished business manager with proven success in business administration and financial management. Manage the overall functions of the business office on the GLTI II CPFF contract at GSFC/NASA in Greenbelt, Md. Collaborate with leadership regarding the operational management of the contract and ensuring compliance with FAR, DCAA and corporate policies. Utilize Deltek/CostPoint 10 accounting software for accounting functions and reporting. Produce monthly NASA 533M and 533Q budget reports submitted to the government utilizing PMiNET software. Facilitate contract budgets and cost estimates for reporting and analysis. Prepare and submit proposals for contract extensions and new contracts in response to government RFPs. Supervise six subcontractors as part of the prime contract. Manage weekly timesheet entries, bi-weekly cost billings, accounts payable/receivable, travel administration and other business office functions. Organize and prepare general ledger reconciliations, adjusting journal entries and review purchase requisitions for accuracy and completions. Areas of expertise and skills include contract administration, account reconciliation, process management, administrative leadership, union labor management, cost accounting, business analysis and quality control. Prior to working for NASA, I served in the U.S. Navy as a Disbursement Clerk, working in various government business offices overseas and aboard ship.
