About Jeff Swinger
Jeff Swinger has been a professional photographer since 1992 when he started honing his skills in community journalism and found his passion telling stories through images. He worked at The Cincinnati Enquirer, nearly 16 years where he spent the bulk of his career covering the city's professional sports teams including the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds as well as the area's dominant NCAA athletics. Jeff was also handpicked by USA Today Sports to be part of its photo team covering the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, and 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. Other career highlights include the coverage of the NFL playoffs, Super Bowl XLVI, and four Kentucky Derbies. Additionally, he works with Canon USA as a freelance Pro Market Representative, travelling nationally to promote the brand and teach the technical side of its camera equipment. In December 2014, Jeff moved to Park City, Utah, where he works for USA Today Sports Images as a photo editor and contract photographer, covering Utah's professional and college sports as well as international events.
