I am thankful for a rewarding long career at BMI that has brought a strong understanding of the ever-changing complex world of copyright and the music business. Paralleled with the incredible growth occurring here in Nashville, this city has a unique position to be a global leader in supporting musicians both at a local and global level. In August 2015, I was elected to Metro Council representing the 15th District for Nashville-Davidson County, which is the Donelson / Opryland area. I was re-elected in 2019. I'm excited about the opportunities ahead as Donelson becomes a showcase for how a regional transit system (via the WeGo Star) can function with economic development to support it. I thoroughly enjoy guiding the various aspects of public and private sectors to bring people together and achieve strong community development.
