Team Leadership: Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and leading diverse, geographically dispersed teams of up to 20 direct reports ranging from entry-level employees in their first jobs to retired seniors returning to the workforce. Community Engagement and Involvement: Started a partnership with Special Olympics Texas and secured the Y being a host site for Special Olympics Field Event and Swim Meet that hosted over 250 athletes at the Hood County Y. Formed a partnership with Granbury ISD to begin Special Needs Soccer, Swim Lessons, and weekly field trips to the Y, engaging 30 to 60 youth per week. Facility Management: Managed numerous YMCA facilities and assets, including maintenance, upkeep, and improvements. Worked with City Manager to negotiate facility usage for city services in exchange for financing upgrades and monthly rent. Presented proposal and secured funding to make grounds improvements for Camp Carter and add program enhancements. Community Improvement Initiatives: Assisted with efforts to establish the Y as a 24hr disaster relief location after area wildfires in Hood County. Architected a disaster relief system that pooled multiple non-profits to support community needs following disasters.
