My professional experience spans both private consulting and the public sector, complemented by an academic background in landscape architecture, urban design, community planning, and placemaking. This blend of knowledge and experience enables me to manage a diverse range of projects using an interdisciplinary approach. I have successfully delivered capital projects through their entire lifecycle, from early planning, design, and engagement stages to build-out, and construction completion. Additionally, I have contributed to strategic planning initiatives, shaping guidelines and policies related to parks and public spaces in Calgary. In recent years, I have gained valuable leadership experience in hiring, managing, supervising, and mentoring a team of City staff, including landscape architects, project managers, project coordinators, and portfolio leads. I thrive on the challenge of building and developing a highly effective team that is competent with the capital delivery of projects.
