About Jeff Turnbough

I serve in the role of CEO of the International Training Alliance (ITA), a growing consortium of mission and training organizations training leaders on mission globally. Before serving in this capacity, my wife and I were church planters in Spain for 30 years. For the last ten years of that time, I was a senior trainer for ITA. ITA offers a very unique adult leadership transformational training. Our flagship training event is the Leadership Matters Course (LMC)-a training program that emphasizes acquiring practical leadership skills that lead to ministry and life transformation. We have sponsored over 100 courses in 40 nations for leaders (in English, French, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese). One hundred and ninety (190) different organizations have sent leaders to our courses. Since I assumed this role, we have legally incorporated ITA as a 501c3 in the USA. In 2021 we began offering our training virtually. We call our virtual training LMC Online and it training consists of four courses: 1. Relationship Matters 2. Working Together Matters 3. Communication Matters 4. Life Managment Matters I am seconded to ITA from IM, Inc, where I have worked since April of 1981. My family and I moved to Madrid, Spain in June of 1982. In 2006, I became a part of the administration, continuing to live and work from Madrid. In October of 2011 we moved back to the USA to work in the home office. Not only did we leave our hearts in España, we stayed connected with España because we were granted dual (Spanish and American) citizenship. My wife and I have two grown children. Both of them grew up in Madrid, are now married, and have families of their own.(They have blessed our family with six wonderful grandchildren!) Our son lives and works in Madrid. Our daughter lives and works in Phoenix.
