About Jeff Weiss

Jeff brings to the table 30 years of experience in overseeing daily drilling, workover, testing, and completions operations for a wide range of well types within the National and International oilfield, with a reputation for being a solid influence as an Oil & Gas Industry Leader. He strategically collaborates with key personnel, contractors, and stakeholders for the improvement of operations to achieve business objectives. Jeff was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada and presently resides in Calgary, Alberta. He is passionate about renovation and building projects. He likes taking an old house and designing the space to modernize and upgrade it. He has the skills to do all the trade work himself and enjoy building and working with his hands. His attention to detail is instrumental in achieving a high-quality finished project. He understands that in order to renovate, it will take analytical and planning skills to evaluate a project and determine the best plan to deliver. Jeff enjoys the ability to travel and experience new cultures and places. He appreciates working in challenging environments with limited resources utilizing problem-solving skills to determine a practical solution. He understands that every well is different, so he enjoys the challenge of analyzing the data to optimize performance in a continual and rapidly changing environment. On an educational front, Jeff completed the Bachelor of Engineering (Geological). He has continuously developed himself by attending various trade-related training and courses that foster personal development and skills enhancement including obtaining the Professional Engineer designation with APEGA and a Master’s Certificate in Project Management. A few of the key skills that Jeff brings forward include excellent leadership, analytical, detail-orientation, and interpersonal skills. He strongly believes that success depends on the value of strong working relationships, built on integrity and respect for diversity. Jeff continues to be focused on improving his position as a flexible manager, developing his cutting-edge skills in Drilling and Completions. He takes personal satisfaction in tackling new challenges with a competitive edge as he advances his career within an ever-changing industry.
