About Jeff Welday

Jeff has more than 25 years of financial services and investment management experience. Jeff currently serves as Chief Development Officer, Alternative Investments for True North Advisors, and is responsible for leading the growth and expansion of the Western Alternative Strategies ("WAS") platform. WAS portfolio offerings include direct investments, co-investments and pooled vehicles investing across private equity, venture capital, private credit, real estate and natural resources. Jeff's responsibilities include leading marketing and sales initiatives, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to the product development process to support platform scalability and growth. Jeff has a strong breadth of strategic and operational experience, including vision setting, strategy creation, implementation, and execution for global Fortune 100 wealth and investment management brands to his current senior leadership role for an innovative, fintech platform for high-net-worth investors who own alternative investments. Jeff has successfully built and led sales, national accounts and marketing teams for $1T+ asset management organizations with product capabilities spanning alternative investments such as private equity, private credit, private real estate and hedge fund of funds, as well as traditional investments including mutual funds, separately managed accounts and exchange traded funds.
