About Jeff White

Jeffrey S. White, a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, received simultaneous degrees of Bachelor and Maters of Architectural Engineering in 2003. While at Penn State Mr. White participated in several industry related groups emphasizing sustainable building methods, lean building practices and also spent summers working to construct straw bale structures in Montana. He participated in a study abroad program at the University of Leeds, Leeds, England. While enrolled at Penn State, Mr White completed two internships with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation where he was assigned to heavy civil roadway & bridge projects. Mr. White also completed two internships with Gilbane Building Company and subsequently joined Gilbane permanently in 2004 Mr. White. While at Gilbane Jeff worked his way to Senior Project Manager, specializing in the healthcare industry and was involved in several design/build projects at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda. In November of 2017 Mr. White made the transition to MGAC working as Senior Project Manager in the Critical Environments group where he is currently employed. During Mr. White’s professional career he has been an active member of the Associated General Contractors of Washington D.C. and served on the AGC’s Young Constructor’s Forum Steering Committee. Jeff has also served as mentor for the ACE Frederick High School Affiliate and served as Lead Mentor for the ACE Wheaton High School program in Wheaton Maryland. Mr. White has obtained his Certified Healthcare Constructor status from the American Hospital Association, DBIA associate, and has maintained his LEED AP, BD+C status since 2003.
