About Jeff Womacks

I have more than 31 years of experience working in the oil and gas industry. I have an extensive background in natural gas compression, power generation, mid-stream plant control system design, off shore, and SAGD facilities. I also have expertise in the Rockwell Logix (PLC), FTVSE (HMI) programming and Visual Basic applications, and I have very strong troubleshooting skills in digital and pneumatic and electrical systems. I have advanced skills in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) host system design and development, particularly as it relates to ClearSCADA and VTScada applications. I also have experience with automation project design and project management of large industrial gas plants and field SCADA systems. My specific area of software expertise is Control Logix PLC programming, and Factory Talk Studio SE in full distributed network architecture. I have also discovered how to launch an instance of a real time trend in FTVSE and have it back fill data from the historian without the use of any special custom codding. I also have experience in using the Rockwell Plant PAX library for project development. Developer of complete commissioning software package called LITTLE FOOT.
