About Jefferson Ferronato

I'm an executive with solid experience in corporate strategy, product- & go-to-market-strategy, business operation & transformation and corporate development, having worked for global technology and consulting companies. My career path combines the leadership of strategy teams, the management of implementation and tactical multidisciplinary projects and the development of innovative solutions for complex challenges in industries such as technology, financial services, healthcare and private equity, in multinational contexts. As the head of Corporate Strategy at Hotmart, a global technology unicorn that provides payments, financial and ed-tech solutions for digital entrepreneurs, I structured and led the area, being responsible for the group's strategy, for its market and competitive intelligence, and for the leadership of strategic projects with commercial, innovation and business expansion scopes. Among my main achievements at Hotmart, I highlight the turnaround in Hotmart's international expansion strategy, the development of the strategy and mobilization behind Hotmart’s new ecommerce enablement solution for physical products, and the structuring of the group's corporate OKRs. Prior to that I have worked for +7 years as a strategy management consultant for large national and multinational groups at Bain & Company, in engagements in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, with relevant experience in financial services, healthcare, private equity, retail / e-commerce, among other industries, in engagements in topics such as corporate and go-to-market strategy, implementation of transformational programs and in commercial due diligences for M & As. My academic background includes a MBA from The Wharton School of Business, at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil), with an academic exchange to the Technische Universität München (Germany). I have a strong conviction that strategies developed and executed with excellence are fundamental to transform companies and ensure strong, sustainable results.
