About Jeffery Decker

I am the Director and C.E.O. of Telos Motivational Interviewing a division of my founding company: The Pacific Northwest Institute of Advanced Leadership and Change Management. In this role I lead the company’s business, marketing, and advertising presence along with acting as lead instructor in my redesigned Motivational Interviewing courses. Our most exciting work to date has been the creation of an innovative, engaging presentation specifically designed for modern adult learners; which is generating an enormous buzz! Not only is our design of Motivational Interviewing training fun and exciting but, it’s ground-breaking in its delivery, format, and application. I have always had the ability to connect with the human spirit. People would often say that I am the easiest person to talk with and I understand like no one else. I have never taken these compliments lightly. This was why I excelled in my previous positions; first in law enforcement and then in the health and human service fields. I care deeply about people; their lives, accomplishments, and future! There is no greater satisfaction than seeing your fingerprint on the success of another person. I feel that every person is on a unique journey. Their path behind is carved from personal experience; forward lays the mortar of hopes and dreams. My passion is discovering how the past and future define each other and can be used for empowerment. I formed Telos Motivational Interviewing because I want to give this passion to others, in hope that we all gain a deeper level of empathy. At the heart of every great outcome lies proper communication and leadership. I obtained my Master's degree from Capella University in Leadership, where I graduated with a perfect 4.0! I want to connect with people who are just as passionate as I am about developing people and organizations to greatness!
