About Jeffery Wayman

I am 26 years old. I have a High School diploma. I have had multiple jobs ranging from retail to trades work. I began working at 16 years old in fast food. I worked at the same establishment for about 3 years. I then worked a few seasonal and part time jobs trying to figure out what I was wanting to do for a career. I then landed at O'Reilly Auto Parts where I started as a merchandiser. After being a merchandiser for a few months I was moved up to a Parts Professional (Sales Representative). After being primarily in sales for about a year I was moved up to Retail Service Specialist for a few months before being promoted to Assistant Store Manager. From there I was ASM for about 8 months before moving on from retail to pursue the trades. I ended up doing concrete construction for 3 months during the summer before the seasons changed. From concrete I chose to move to the electrical field and joined the LU 159 out of Southern Wisconsin. I was hoping to chase an apprenticeship with the union and after a year of being with the 159 and being laid off for reduction of force by two contractors, the last one tallying 6 weeks with no calls. I decided it was time to find a new job opportunity. That of which landed me with Wisconsin Management Company. Now I am with Grede Casting. I have been since 2020. I spent 3 years as a maintenance electrician, and recently transferred to Melt Maintenance Mechanic. Beyond work I am a huge sports fan. Football, basketball, hockey, and stock car racing are the major four. I play video games, go to football games whenever I can and spend a large amount of my free time around the local race tracks.
