About Jeffrey Cayne

Several career choices have molded me into who I am today. I was born in North Bellmore, New York and lived there until I finished my undergraduate at Nassau Community College. I moved to finish my education at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida with a BBA degree in Business Administration - General. My first “real” job was at a stock brokerage firm. After about 10 years as a stockbroker, I transitioned into mortgage brokerage and shortly thereafter I got my real estate salesperson license. I learned as quickly as I could and worked diligently to understand how I could best serve first time buyers. Much of my training was with VA and FHA mortgages and helping buyers navigate the home buying process. Of course knowing how buyers operate aided in my knowledge of how to work with sellers and explain what is important to buyers. I have 3 wonderful grown children. My oldest is a doctor in Fort Worth, Texas. My middle child served in the military and is now a police officer in Virginia. My youngest child lives in South Florida. They’re all happily married, and I am blessed with 6 beautiful grandchildren. As I have had family members stationed here at Fort Bragg, I visited here for many years. I always knew I would come here permanently as I enjoy the four-season weather, the varied landscape, closeness to mountains and beach and a more central location to my family. I’ve been here since mid-2019. One thing I learned about myself in all my careers is that I’ve always enjoyed and had great success in bringing 2 ends of a deal together; my definition of a true broker! When I am able to create some “me time,” I enjoy riding my motorcycle, taking group rides and helping at various outings to support our military.
