Jeffrey A. Davis is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Cambridge Realty Capital Companies, one of the nation’s leading senior housing / healthcare financiers and investors with more than 500 closed senior housing / healthcare debt and equity transactions totaling more than $5.0 billion since the 1990s. Mr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in finance. He earned a graduate degree in Real Estate Investment Analysis and Appraisal from the University of Wisconsin in 1976 and joined Baird & Warner Inc, a diversified Chicago-based real estate firm, the same year. He was a member of the commercial RE lending division and he swiftly moved up through the ranks to become the youngest Senior Vice President in the 150-year-old real estate company‘s history. Mr. Davis founded Cambridge Realty Capital in 1983 as a regional commercial mortgage banking firm. In 1987, a decision to forgo traditional mortgage banking and diversifying in senior housing / healthcare financing was explored, and the company began slowly to expand nationally into new markets resulting in a 100% commitment to this area by 1992. Mr. Davis has been frequently quoted in business and industry newspapers and magazines, including National Real Estate Investor, Business Week, Chicago Tribune, McKnight’s Long-Term Care, Provider, Contemporary Long-Term Care, Commercial Property News, Senior Housing Investor and numerous other publications. Additionally, Mr. Davis was a co-author of a white paper "The Senior Living Property Sector: How is it Perceived by the Institutional Investor" which was published in The Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management in June 2009.
