About Jeffrey Deritter

My background includes event management, scheduling, logistics, and warehouse delivery driving. Most recently, I worked as the manager of logistics for MGM Resorts' corporate events company. My duties included managing, training, and scheduling fifty employees as well as twenty to one hundred temporary employees to ensure thousands of events were produced each year. Handling a fleet of vehicles while strategizing logistics to ensure inventory was delivered to the events for set-up and tear-down. During events, I would interact with clients, employees, and corporate partners to ensure satisfaction and quality of events in a timely and professional manner. Previously, I worked with multiple sports management companies helping to produce quality running, swimming, and biking and obstacle course events across the country. With these companies, I demonstrated the ability to work well as a part of a team of people or independently to complete daily tasks. I am able to lead a team in various roles, and operate various event vehicles like: vans, 16-26’ box and stake bed trucks, both gas and electric carts, pallet jack, forklift, pettibone forklift, boom lift and skid steer. In addition to this experience, I gained considerable warehouse experience as a driver for a catering company, fulfilling orders and loading trucks to go out on deliveries. I also was in charge of loading vehicles for different race events, following inventory lists and ensuring that all supplies are loaded in a timely manner. I also bring to the table the ability to learn and pick up skills quickly, excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, and computer proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and two years of college.
