About Jeffrey Fraser

I'm a Principal Engineering Geologist and a Partner at Golder, based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I have over 15 years of experience in the identification and assessment of geohazards for risk assessment and engineering projects in New Zealand, Australia, Europe, Middle East, North Africa, North America and Antarctica. My main area of expertise is in earthquake hazard assessment where I have led fault mapping and characterization studies and probabilistic seismic hazard studies for a wide range of industries including urban-buildings, mining, oil and gas, and a range of energy generation projects. I was involved in the recovery from the 2010/2011 Christchurch earthquakes and the response and recovery from the 2016 Kaikoura earthquake.
