I am currently working at The Fresh Market as a Deli Manager. I worked as a chef with Hilton Worldwide at Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach, SC. I work in both restaurant and banquet. For 2 years previous, I held the positions of Food and Beverage Manager, General Manager, and Executive Chef at a restaurant in Dallas, TX. I did all the training, managed both the front and back of the house, programmed the POS system, and did inventory and ordering of all the food, liquor, beer, and wine. I have 20 years of experience running my own small catering business. I lived in Sardinia, Italy for 1 year and learned a great deal about Italian cooking working with local chefs. I received my BA in Business Management in 1993, and attended SMU in pursuit of my MBA. Due to extensive travel with my then current employer, I had to stop taking my MBA classes. My employer enrolled me in a Business Management Program for middle managers at SMU. It was a condensed MBA program where each week was one semester of their MBA program. I received that certification in 1996. I believe I have all the management and technical skills to meet and exceed any expectations you have for your open position.
