About Jeffrey Kahn

Hello, my name is Jeffrey Kahn. I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Tarzana and Encino. I was very fortunate to be raised in an upper middle-class family and the youngest of 3. My father was a dentist, an intellectual with a passion for education and academia. I embraced this passion for education and passed this legacy down to my own son who works for the Orange County Department of Education and is studying for his doctorate in Education. I’ve always excelled in mathematics and possessed a love for art and music. I’m an avid guitar player beginning at the age of 9. After attending college at California State University, Fullerton, I worked at Arthur Andersen to obtain a respectable foundation in audit and public accounting. Since that time, I have worked mostly for privately held companies. I enjoy the “hands on” quality work that I perform, and commonly make a significant contribution in the companies I have been employed with. I worked my way up the accounting hierarchy starting with staff accountant, senior accounting analyst, accounting manager and Controller for the past 15 years. The following exemplifies why I may be the best choice for any position: 1. An outstanding education. A BA in Business Administration with an accounting concentration from California State University, Fullerton, one of the top business schools in the country.
