About Jeffrey Mead

With 40+ years of experience, I am now active with my transitioning and repurposing from a client service focused partner to a mentoring role along with technical and consultative expertice provided to our clients. Throughout my client service career, my skills were focused upon closely-held, privately-owned and family owned businesses. I believed that understanding the needs and wants of "private companies" is itself, an expertise that is often overlooked, under appreciated and very often "under-serviced." My specialties throughout my public accounting career were focused upon strategic consulting in the areas of revenue recognition, ownership transition challenges with respect to both an external sales and that of an internal transition. I always focused upon maximizing shareholder value coupled with very strong and creative problem solving skill set, preferering to use the audit process as a fulcrum point to leverage opportunities and to provide high-value, creative services to my clients. As I have successfully transitioned my clients to my other partners and now have the time and opportunity to seak other endeavors, my latest resides with mentoring and teaching. We hace developed a program called #Zip2CPA where we coach aspiring CPA canidates throughout the successful completion of the CPA exam.
