I am Jeffrey Ogle, a senior at Virginia Tech majoring in international trade and development with two minors; German and Leadership and Social change. I am an eight year speaker of the German Language. Inspired by learning German, I joined and spent two years in the German house of the Mozaiko Living Learning Community. I held a position as a peer mentor within the LLC for one year. During the Fall semester of 2022, I traveled to Lugano, Switzerland to study social and international marketing as well as undertake my leadership and social change minor. To end the semester, I spent two weeks in Ruli, Rwanda to complete a service learning project, in which I taught English to primary school students, worked with the local nursing students, raised money for school supplies, and finally, worked on a semester long grant proposal project dedicated to the education (specifically SCRATCH coding).
