About Jeffrey Scott

I am an experienced, multi-faceted, goal-oriented, and successful facilities manager. I have roots in luxury multifamily property management and development, government facilities management, and corporate facilities management; and most recently, non-profit facilities management. I have managed multiple sites at once, from a prestigious corporate regional headquarters, several small satellite offices, to a corporate data center. I have a passion for architecture and design, and have received accolades for critical multi-phase move and construction projects, re-stacks and small office consolidations, and decommissioning a corporate data center. I also have experience in shipping and mail room procedures, administering the UPS and DHL shipping programs for Nokia's US offices with 400 users. After Nokia's partial divestiture to Microsoft, I drafted Nokia's shipping policies and procedures, and trained administrators and end users for both companies. I am a strong and fair team leader, having managed staffs up to 20, written policies and procedures and training manuals and trained other managers and new company employees. I have a keen eye for detail, from planning and design to facilities upkeep; and a broad knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, critical space systems, CAD-based space management programs, and working with blueprints. I have a strong financial background as well, exceeding budgetary expectations in cost savings and reductions, creating budgets for multiple properties, managing AP processing, bidding processes and implementing and managing vendor contracts. I am always looking to utilize my talents in a positive working environment, with a desire to learn more and expand my skill set.
