About Jeffrey Terrell

I have retired after practice as a rhinologist and sinus surgeon in the department of Otolaryngology at Michigan Medicine for 29 years. I also had also been the associate chief medical information officer for our institution from 2012 to 2022, as we transitioned from a home grown electronic health record to EPIC. I have substantial interest, expertise and experience in managing patients with all sinus disorders, as well as hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, a blood vessel disorder associated with significant vascular malformations and nosebleeds. In addition to some informatics and Rhinology research, I have had substantial experience in medical legal aspects of Otolaryngology, especially related to Sinus surgery and complications of sinus surgery. I have been asked to be an expert witness related to interesting cases such as the world trade center - related illnesses as well as civil and criminal cases related primarily to sinus disease and sinus surgery.
