Investments professional with a broad range of experience including Trading, asset management and sales. Trading equities at WTS Proprietary Trading Group helped hone Jeff's skills in finding patterns in the Level II market data and acting on those patterns as quickly as possible. Mornings and nights were spent researching the companies that were on the trading list to help understand how they'd move during the day. Jeff also spent time reconciling trades made each day to confirm he received the correct price on both the equities and the routes. Working at Bank of America Jeff helped clients transition from the trading software they knew, Bank of America, to the new software offered by Merrill Lynch. He also led a small team to help reach out to clients who had yet to make the correct changes to their accounts by first speaking with the Financial Advisors and then to the clients. If the clients had not made the changes to their accounts, the trades they placed would not have been funded. While at Mercer Jeff learned how to handle difficult situations in a timely and accurate manner. He also developed the ability to explain investment topics and options to clients from many different backgrounds. At State Street Bank Jeff worked as a liaison between the IRS, the international tax authorities of Canada, Ireland, and the clients. He worked with large accounts like CalSTRS and CalPERS helping them pay less in taxes on their investments in both Canada and Ireland. Jeff can pick up new systems easily and is skilled in using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg Terminal, Salesforce, and FBSI to name a few. During the Pandemic Jeff took it upon himself to learn Python, albeit at a basic level, and spent a few months learning basic Cyber Security principles.
