Background
About Jeffry Phillips
Currently, my overall mission is to provide the law enforcement community with insight and knowledge on what I have coined,"The Missing Link" in law enforcement performance measurements. Unlike conventional law enforcement measurements that have placed emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness, police performance audits 'within operations' is currently absent within law enforcement. My intent is to assist law enforcement agencies 'look within' by measuring how they comply with their own policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws. My insight comes from both a practitioner and academic standpoint, given that I work in this field, and I am currently undertaking academic research in this area as well.
