About Jella Riesterer
I have extensive experience as a leader, founder and consultant in the public, social enterprise and start-up sectors, always aiming to address grand societal challenges with my work. Through my PhD research, I aim to deepen my knowledge and understanding of leadership and transformation within these challenges. As a sociologist I'm interested in societal dynamics that produce tensions in daily working life. As a practicioner and Social Entrepreneur by heart I aim for empowering people to contribute to the change they want to see in the world. As a consultant, I support social start-ups, social organisations and public organizations in innovative and transformative projects on grand challenges in collaboration with Social Innovation Lab Freiburg that I co-founded in 2018.
