About Jemima Thomas

I graduated from the University of Newcastle, with a Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Psychology in 2015, and finished my Masters in Clinical Epidemiology in November of 2021. In addition, I also hold full professional registration with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC). I currently work as The Business Manager for WorkFocus Australia in our Northern Territory and South Australia regions. I returned to WorkFocus as a team leader in 2022 following working as an Injury Management Specialist at EML in their specialised mental health claims team, and as an Injury Management Advisor in their specialised Section 39 claims team. I have a passion for ensuring people with injuries are provided with wholistic, evidence based and empathetic care, which I have instilled in all aspects of my work since beginning in the personal injury industry. Outside of work I enjoy playing team sports like netball, hockey, AFL and touch football, am an avid reader and an animal lover. I enjoy socialising with my peers, and love to get involved in organisation of social events. I have coached and managed sports teams for many years. I've been based in Darwin for over 2 years now and am proud to call myself a Territorian!
